Rationale
The Azure and Sable divided field is because the armiger likes the colours and thought it would look well with an Ermine bend. The bevilled bend symbolises that the armiger see things a little askew of the world.
The gridiron on the crest symbolises the armiger's connection to St Laurent of Rome, who is said to be the Patron saint of cooks and comedians.
