Design Rationale
The design is based on the various Spooner families of Great Britain differenced by the tinctures and blazon. The legend of the boar that has been used by the various Spooner families and has been attributed to their support of King Richard III and the House of York during the Wars of the Roses. The boar being the Badge of King Richard III. The crest is a reflection of the armiger's maternal Welsh heritage through the Evans family.
