Design rationale
The lion appears in ancestral arms, and is differenced in these arms by adding two tails and changing its color from silver to yellow. The eagle, arrows and Chinese dragon represent my wife's ancestry while the rose, shamrock and scotch thistle in the crest represent my ancestry. The Southern Cross is for our being an Australian family.
