Design rationale
The black field represents the brotherhood of chivalry, and the burgundy field the native american strength of "will". The color white represents the chivalric virtue of humility. The oak is a sacred tree of earth and represents spiritual strength and awareness. The lion represents my brother. The chequy represents clan Boyd which is my mothers surname, Osborne is a sept of Boyd. The demi-bear represents my spirit and my scandinavian background, and the broad sword my love for the study of Kunst des Fechten and fencing Master Liechtenauer.
