Design rationale

The white Field represents a desire for peace. The blue chevron represents loyalty and service to our great nation. The lion at top left represents a distant but proud relation to the house of Plantagenet in old England. The three gun stones at top right represent the three Clark Men who have fought in American wars. The arm holding a quill atop the crest represents the hand of Abraham Clark, the armiger's 6th great-grandfather, signing the Declaration of Independence.
