Design rationale
The Vert and Argent are the national colours of Egypt, the armiger's homeland, from 1922 to 1958. The Vert is also symbolic of the armiger's Sharifian descent and Islamic faith. The three crescents are symbolic of his Egyptian, Arab, and Turkish heritage, as well as his Islamic faith. The three crescents also recall the flag of Egypt in the 19th century.
